What This Means for Collectors
While delays are never fun, this change aligns the release of the blisters with the second wave of Ascended Heroes products. February 20th was already marked on many calendars as the launch day for the Elite Trainer Boxes (ETBs) and Mini Tins.
It looks like February 20th is shaping up to be a massive "Mega" drop day, where you'll be able to hunt for the Erika and Larry promos alongside your ETB pickups.
Note on Pre-orders: If you have these blisters pre-ordered at your local game store or an online retailer, expect your fulfillment to be held until the new February date. As always, it’s worth double-checking with your specific retailer, as distribution can sometimes vary by region.
The Jan 30th Launch is Still On
Don’t worry—the set itself isn't delayed! The Ascended Heroes expansion still officially launches on January 30th. You will still be able to find the Tech Sticker Collections and other launch products on shelves this Friday to get your first taste of the new Mega Evolution cards.
Hang in there, Trainers! Larry would probably tell us that "overtime is just part of the job," so we’ll just have to wait a little longer to add his Komala promo to our binders.
